And when I saw the Airbags being slapped on to the dummy's face, I died laughing!!!! :laugh:
The airbags were released pretty harshly.

This could also pop the airbag during the crash if the dummy got hurt to hard. :laugh:

Do we get different built quality for indian market as compared to europe and other countries, i mean also metal used does they too differ then out market?

I don't think so vijay. As this will not give benefit to production cost. Different dyes need to be used, added weight will ruin power, FE,etc..

good, i had booked my TD for Jazz and also got a call within 24 hrs regarding more information about that car, the sales executive was not having any more details then it might launch within a month, price would be around 7L and its a premium hatchback so no more details are leaked as of now from the company was his answer to few of my queries, though he said to get in touch with me if any more information was available as also for TD.

Make sure when you TD it you take your cam along with you.

Honda Jazz's Pricing May be much more attractive!



Honda is ready to bring its small car Jazz to India. The new small car from Honda Siel Cars India will be a premium hatchback model and the expected price of the same is above Rs. 5.5 lakh to 7 lakh. However, the R&D team at Honda is busy to indigenize and localize the car to bring down its cost. It expects to bring down the price to Rs. 4.5 lakh.

Honda R&D team of 25 members will be headed by a senior official from Japan and will also include people from purchase and manufacturing divisions. Honda is aiming at bigger market share in India and also aims to boost its sales figures by introducing a small car in the country. Honda Jazz is the only small car in Honda’s global product portfolio. This new small car will be the first model for Honda with India as the lead market place. So far Japan had been the lead market place for Jazz, Accord and Civic. The US had been lead market place for Honda City.

Owing to the slump in the market and falling sales, Honda has stopped its operations at its incomplete plant at Tapukara in Rajasthan. It is expected that this new model may be produced at this facility itself.

well yes the news is confirmed from honda for getting new hatch in indian market with its price tag of 4 to 5L but its not for jazz but all new vehicle which honda is currently working on and also they are finalising few of new models parts locally manufactured to cut the prices and give a new hatchback with competetive pricing.

With the growing competition in the Indian car market, the 1.2 litre car market now has a neck tight competition. Most of the manufacturers have a model in this range, but with hardly any price variation.

The current 1.2 litre engine car market has the Chevrolet U-VA, Skoda Fabia(Petrol), Hyundai i10 and the i20, Indica Xeta and the old Fiat Palio (available in the second hand car market). With the Maruti Ritz being aggressively priced, the market for this segment as become even tighter. The competition is now cut throat as all the cars are value for their money.

The Skoda Fabia is the most expensive hatch of the lot. Honda with its Jazz plans for India, will be take away the title from the Fabia of the most expensive 1.2 litre hatchback. The Jazz could bear the Rs 7 lakh tag, even after localizing 70% of its parts. With the Indian thinking of going for a bigger car at the same price, Honda could have a hard time with its Jazz, as the Renault Logan, Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire, Tata Indigo and a few more saloons like the Hyundai Accent are available at a price equal to or less than the Jazz, which could be a reason for lesser sales of the Jazz.

On the other hand, Honda brand sells in India. People in India can buy Honda even when blindfolded. So Honda could add another spark to this on going battle between the 1.2-litre engine powered cars. We believe that the Jazz could be affected by its price tag.
