hummer, good sketch but mate what u did is tumbled the jazz seat which can be done on getz too and any other cars, but what when u upfold the seats on jazz, you get a partition in between the boot and folded seats which doesnt get you that available space, its better if we check this tomorrow and clear it out.

ok. i get that. if you are comparing between double tumble and folding up of Jazz seats then yes double tumble is better. but if it is between double tumble and single tumble. then single tumble gives more space. we'll check it out properly tommorow

Delhi's prices are the lowest in India. Top-end variant costs 733000, add taxes and insurance, it'll cost in the region of 825000 in delhi and around 5.5 lacs in other cities, i guess.

The base model will cost closer to 8 lacs.

Very high price. I doubt whether it'll do big volumes. But if Saloon buyers buy Jazz, then better results can be expected. As vijay and hummer said, space better than saloon.

But I feel, In India most of the people doesn't cares about space when it comes to status symbol, Which can only be shown by saloon.

yes most of the people will just want to go for a costlier ANHC just for the snob value of a sedan.

Great review Hummer and vj. Waiting for a full TD report. I feel that the Jazz is highly over-priced and Honda is literally extorting people by asking so much. People will still buy it for the status of a Honda. It is a good car nonetheless which suits all requirements for relaxed driving and good space.

well guys got the price list Ex-Ahmedabad and Jazz would come in two variants one the base Jazz with the specs listed on page 18 and addition to that would be Jazz Active which would equip more with spoilers,Fog Lamps,Chorme finish on dash,Chrome side strips, Upholstrey would be different and would be 35000/- more to base model
Prices: Base: 8,05,000/- on road price
Active: 8,40,000/- on road price.
Also known is the possibility of Auto variant of Jazz later this year or by 2010, depending on the market success of current Jazz.Thanks.

I was thinking of a 7.5 lakh on road price. Thos pricing literally swept me off my feet. :shock:
