Yeah you better wait. Because Xylos are doing good and someone will design a crash guard for Xylo soon. You could lay hands on it rather than from Scorpios, Innovas,etc..

IMO, guards are not necessary as they do not gel well with Xylo's looks. Plus the point of reducing crashworthiness at high speeds is also there.

fihast dont scold me for doing this on your ride, i just tried to give it a new look :D

@CC, i just tried it, was looking at the swift made for jbl and got this in mind

today morning there was heavy down pour while i was driving, for about 30 kms and it was so heavy for about 10 mins that i felt i was in a submarine , i could see other vehicles struggling to move, but in the xylo i had clear vision and good control at a speed of 80-100kmph, i know it's dangerous , but i couldn't restrain myself, that road was so good and wide enough.
i'm sure xylo was built to beat rain. good job mahindras.

As he has already mentioned, Its the handle bar kind which can be used by passangers in the 3rd row to get in easily.

It doesn't look like a handlebar to me. Anyway I think it is placed low. May be its for short passengers to step in the car and use the handle bar on top to get in.

Fihast, why no seat covers yet? Also, what about the full floor matting? Arn't you going in for these 2 important fixtures for your vehicle?

@ Varkey, handling is still not in league of Innova, but then you should consider the height, ground clearnace & tyre size of the Xylo. As far as ride & comfort is concerned, Xylo is much more comfortable & roomier with even last row of seats very comfortable. Actually, Xylo is a good deal compared to the Innova in many ways, barring quality of interior plastics & overall fit & finish.

nice.. mahindra worked on is iteriors well, i dont think any other mahindra has such an interiors

nice. whenever i see the interior shots of xylo i start liking it. but whenever i see exterior i start dislikin it.
anyways mahindra has done lot of thinkin in designing those interiors. very thoughtful touches like the buckle of seatbealts tucked into the seats is a nice touch. and the handrest with cup holder for the last row is also a good touch.

to beat innova in ride comfort, the xylo should be fully loaded, infact overloaded.
