Thanks CC and Vibhor, for your advice because even I was thinking of getting sunfilms done in my car, may be along with a set of door visors.

As far as using normal fuel and additives is concerned, I have used both back to back and found that with SPEED, the car picks up speed much more easily and gear changing decreases significantly. Plus with SPEED, with half tank, the car covers 300km as opposed to 250-270 with normal petrol.

Friends, Sorry for being away for so long. To be honest, i had completely forgotten to post here also.:msorry:
The car has been driven close to 700 kms now and 2nd tankful gave 11.1 km/l again with full AC but this time am punishing the car a bit. It seems as if i have found the technique to "UDAAO" this car. 2nd gear has opened up and it goes all the way till 4000 RPM quickly (I try very few times lol), pickup has tremendously improved now and it doesnt seems a big bear in initial gears anymore. Everything is handling well and with Gods grace all plastic handles are in their place though Linea is notorious for broken Bonnet and Seat levers :lol!:

    On the Accessories front,
I got the 3M sunfilms on my car, light shade because of cops and today got my ordered seat covers. I had ordered them 10 days back and they came from Uttaranchal all the way to delhi, covers costed me 7k and everybody is way impressed with covers, the stiching quality and material is good. The Seats are made of Leatherite all throughout in Beige colours and seating area and back support area made in Leather in Black colour. So now Seats in Beige-Black colour which matches with interior of the car.
    PHOTOS COMING SOON.

Yes, having great time with the car and slowly the big bear is trying to run fast when i floor in 2nd gear with a jerk.Tinits costed me 3500 and they are the visibility % which cops allow which i think (not sure) is 70% visibility.I wanted to go for medium shade but dad told me to pay all challans if they come lol, so i settled for light which is on all 3 of our cars. AC effect has improved as its chilling even on 25 degrees now.Seat covers are custom made and not any big brand like Stanley etc. Dont have so much moolah, gave a order to our 10 year old car accessories shop and he got it made for us as we wanted. Yups, Pics coming soon, am very lazy on Sundays. Will post in evening.

3500 is very good considering its one of the best sun films brand.

Also try to keep the RPM and the right foot under control.
The fiats are built to last and if you run-in the car properly, the engine too will last long. Waiting for pics.

Hi coolboy! Welcome back :Welcome: . Seems like you are enjoying your ride very much. Its good that your Linea is pulling well, but i suggest you to be careful during its run-in period. 3M is a great brand and we have it in all our cars. And waiting to see your seat covers. Please update us with more pictures.

Those tints are of very light shade but are they able to cut some heat?
And I'm just impressed with the interiors, The seat cover are looking very nice and exactly match to interiors of your Linea, Even the footmats are matching. 👍

excellent pics and superb seat covers you got for your beauty mate, surely you are enjoying its admiration where ever you take her too. Keep updating and how much did those covers costed you, do share. Also how is BLue and Me working.Usually company sends you your code card through courier and doesnt hand over to you, so did you got that and also how many keys were handed over to you cause i've read in other sites from LInea owners that some had problems with that as dealer only gave them 1 key, do share your thoughts on this.CHEERS!

Only one key?Whats happening to FIAT? :suspect: Generally there are two keys given to the owner.

@ Abhinav,.Thanks bro, my ride is complete now, only mudflaps left.

    @ Crazy catThanks again buddy.

@ Vibhor,Yups everything is matching in interiors in beige-black. Only i am left to buy a shirt with beige-black combi lol.

@ Im hummer freakWell steering is avg, i didnt notice it that closely. Instrument cluster is what i like, car glows in full glory in inside at night with orange colours.

    @ Archit,Thanks again.

@ ThackervijaySeat covers costed me 7500 bucks. Blu n Me is best for incoming calls, it sometimes (or many times) doesnt catch my accent. Aghhh. What can i do? If i want to call, just take out my handset and dial from phonebook(not much of a distraction) and then BLU n ME takes over. Fiat is mad, it has given code card to dealers, silly mistake. How can they trust even dealers, those idiots mixed my code cards with 3 other cars and then i had to go to workshop to get my correct car back. Silly fellows. Couriering is better i think. I got 2 KEYS, one with remote and foldable mechanism and other simple key.

@ Vibhor and Crazy catThey gave 2 keys yaar. Its the idiot TATA dealers who forget everything as if they are managing a big country and have too much stress on their heads.FIAT is helping chrysler to let it come out of bankruptcy. A compapny which itself was heading towards bankruptcy (Fiat) and they were saved by Grand punto and multijet engines. :D

Citi banks give loans on Hire Purchase system. So they take away the car, in case of default in payment. So the spare is with them. ICICI will not take the keys, as they do not follow hire purchase.

My Petrol Fiat LINEA Emotion Pack- A story begins - Page 3 Empty Re: My Petrol Fiat LINEA Emotion Pack- A story begins

    Post  coolboy007 21st April 2009, 11:01 pm

I was pissed with FIAT-TATA for some things so vented out my anger all of a sudden:war:
This is the firing mail i sent to them ,

Customer care TATA , (FIAT customer care not accessible)

    1. Why is FIAT CUSTOMER CARE timings just
7 am to 7pm. I spent 8 lakhs on a product to expect good service and even when others said not to invest in FIAT i did.

When all other companies like Maruti and Hyundai have 24 hours customer care service then why not FIAT? These small things matter and will dent the progress of FIAT in India.

    2. Now all Feedback and Ceo corner on FIAT India's website links are not working and eveytime i click submit, i get a message "Enter Proper Data". Is there any way to reach Fiat
India now. I complained to Phone customer care long back and still the problem hasnt been rectified. Should i bang my head why i bought a Fiat Linea as the company's Helpdesk sections are not working which is shameful in itself. Where through should i give feedback.

I think the Linea success has gone way up the head of Fiat India and hope it wont become a failure for this brand like last time as this time i would also be trapped with a car whose company doesnt even respond and even shameful is that website helpdesk doesnt work. What to do ?

    3. Final problem is that the stock Goodyear tyres supplied by FIAT make a lot of noise on rough roads and would request you to change them to bridgestones or michelins for future cars. Sound difference is too much and Fiat should have asked After sales feedback from Linea customers, either the rear tyres or suspension make noises while going over hard roads.

    4. Day before yesterday, i recieved a call from TATA that my Linea's service is due as its nearing 1000 kms. I as a customer had to tell that man that 1st service is due on 3000 kms and not 1000. He kept me on hold and then said yes its on 3000 kms. Do TATA people have any knowledge at all about FIAT products, how sad it is that customer tells the service provider when services are due.

I am comletely dissatified with the service being provided by FIAT, if there is any way, forward this mail to them as if they have some shame left they reply back or do something. Fiat has learnt nothing from its past failures.

I want anwer to all above queries or else ESCALATE my problem. I dont and shouldnt expect this service if i spend 8 lakhs on buying a sedan.
