Really very sad to see it in this condition, How do people leave these beauties like this!this is simply cruelity! :x

Anjan, Is there any rule against this?
Unfortunately not vibhor dear. There is no law as such. In fact many were illegally exported at rock bottom prices to be taken away in crates and done up to their original condition to be sold at hefty premiums in western classic/vintage car showrooms.Usually the customised cars oredred by rulers were the main victims. At least there are some laws that ban exports of pre-1960 made and registered cars and bikes.

thanks for reply anjan, I really feel sad to see such cruelty on vintage/classic beauties, but its good as you said that there some laws that ban exports of pre-1960 made and registered cars and bikes, But some other strict laws are also required to stop all this, and India is a country where most of the people still don't have the value of vintages, those who don't have knowledge think that they are just junk, but we know, how valueable they are! :bball:

Yes vibhor dear the lovers of vintage and classic cars and bikes need to be encouraged with tax breaks and other incentives like duty free import of spares to help them maintain their cars and bikes.Misuse of these provisions should be subject to strict penalties.
It should be understood that these were a part of our lifestyles during the earlier years and happen to be a part of our automobile heritage.Only then will people be encouraged to keep and maintain the cars and bikes well.

Yes anjan very true, but there's nothing from the government side looking for some benifits to these vintage owners, by which i know few people just couldnt restore their classics just because importing their parts was way too expensive and nothing from tax structure to help them out, as there are lots of owners feeling this, hope someone listens to this.

Found this car at a garage. I don't know what car is this but it has surely completed its job, as there was no sign of it being worked and the body condition was very bad and there was no respect for the car there. See the dust on it(should be there for months), and some other things say that it lays there for a long time. But may be it is being restored, i'm just confused.
