ICML to launch Inspire by next year!

ICML the maker of Rhino today said that it will launch its concept car
‘Inspire’ in India by 2010. However it said the much hyped world car platform on
which ICML would planned to produce luxury sedans and SUV is put on hold. ICML
cites the slump in global auto sales for this decision. “The automobile industry
is going through a very difficult and challenging time. We therefore had to
change our plan as the World Car project focused on both export and domestic
markets,” said Raman Mittal, executive director, ICML. ICML had planned to
develop the world car platform jointly with Pininfarina an Italian design firm
and invest about Rs 700 crore for this project. :)

Hideous. The lights though would look great but the rest looks sad.

This is just a concept, So we can expect better model in production and hey its great that your friend owns ICML!Whats his name? 8)

It looks so hideous. Lets see what the final model looks looks like in 2010..

@archit, now the UV segment will fill up slowly with all the weird models. We just need Chinese company, Chana's contribution as a step towards that..!

I do not think it will replace the Rhino.
The rhino ain't that old and got a facelift at the auto expo last year.

No no. I donot think there are any chances of the Rhino getting replaced. Both of them will be sold side by side.

Rhino costs nearly 8 lakhs, so it is already in the league of Xylo. Then where will they position the concept car?

Yes, As abhinav and dcargod said, It won't replace it both car will be sold side by side but i think it would be placed bit higher than Rhino.

Rhino is built to replace the aging fleet of Qualis on the Indi roads
So this ugly duckling might be aimed at the Scorpio or Grand Vitara.
But it looks kind off odd and very uninspiring.

Now the side profile looks like a face lifted version of Rhino. See it for yourself. The basic structure is the same(all pillars), but the concept car is slightly bigger than Rhino.

The shape of the light looks damn crazy.
Doesnt suit it at all.

nothing gr8 about this new concept UV from ICML.Rhino already isnt doing that gr8 which was built with qualis look alike.

Same old copying techniques of ICML.te rear has a touch of Sumo Grande.Front looks like an ill fated Qualis.i m eagerly looking forward to this launch .The Mighty SONALIKA INSPIRE.. :lol!:

the rear looks good but the front looks like a toy car

Its one of the variant of Accord...

It's the optional bodykit with the Accord.
