but still by spending a lakh or 2 we can sure make it provide all the features provided by a Q7

It wasn't a planned meet. Bharat just sent me a PM informing me that he is in Mumbai and gave me his cell no. I called him and he told that he is in Nerul. And best of all, he was just some 100 metres away from my home. (World is sooo small..!) I met him. His good luck that Q7 was at home and I was relatively free. We spend just appx 30 mins together and then I had to rush to office for some work.

Regarding Q7, just today it is back from its 2nd service of 30000kms. This service costed us Rs. 25721/-

I'm not sure, but i feel Rs. 25000 for every 15000kms is expensive but not very expensive, considering low volume and Audi badging.

Like Crazy Cat, Me too doesn't find the 25k for regular service of a Q7 to be a jaw lowering figure.

one word - outrageous, unless you convert that amount into dollars and VOILA! it's the standard cost of servicing in the US! 500dollars is not all that bad for a service. unfortunately, even if I could afford a car like the Q7, I'll probably foot the down payment on some real estate instead.

    Post 2:
BTW what does a CBU have to do with fuel filter costs? are they importing a full unit just for the filter?

Um , i meant that being a CBU its parts are imported from their parent location ( Germany or elsewhere) rather than being made locally like most manufacturers do.
I guess even the Skoda's air filter costs this much?

If yes, then it is pretty good considering its a big SUV from Audi
