Tata Nano now launched!

yeah same like typical tata, also to mantion i also opened the bonnet to check out, had spare wheel,located in between with some wires going around the side walls, but was ammused to see was not able to close it, like when placed it back lock lever was not closing it properly and was affraid to throw is like our cars from few hight, what if it might come out then :stupid: , so left it like that only.

yeah thats true. the parts feel flimsy. and its always on your mind to handle the car safely. what if anything comes off in your hand. specially door handles etc.

The reviews given by all magazines are biased. Not even one of them gave a proper one. All gave the review favoring Nano and not even one pointed out its flaws. But recent review in OD(test of small cars), atleast finds out the negative points after a long time. Some important points they pointed, like for refueling, we have to open the bonnet and the main thing is 15litres tank, frequent visits. The boot is 80 litres and for keeping something(big or small), you have to fold the rear seat(no hatch). Unsettled ride, poor crosswind stability and many more.

I said in some of my previous post also that in the initial days of the Nano's launch, Everyone is only going to praise it, But the real thing will come out after sometime when its out on roads and becomes common.

yes and specially when people will have to deal with tata ASS.

this is just the beginning, many more negative sides of nano will be pointedout ones the car hits the road

yes true napster. its ride quality, cabin heating, NVH levels etc. can all be determined only after the car comes on road.

i personally dont like the engine sound, its sick

i never heard it but i wonder how a 2 cylinder car would sound. :scratch:

Ok, so when will he get the car(months or years)? Or can he cancel his booking as he didnot win the lot?

There are many people who have got the date of 2010 - 2011!!

And for those who are willing to cancel their booking of "NANO!!", You can do it within 30 days if you want to get the full payment back, OR if you do it after 30 days, Rs.2999(i.e.3000)will be deducted and rest of the money will be returned back.

I'm surprised to see so much demand for nano,People are willing to buy like they are getting it for free!

i believe let the first batch roll out and let people know what nano is all about, surely there would be changes in peoples mind looking at the quality given, and its afterall not free, you pay minimum of 135000/- for base model.
Also think how many bookings might get cancelled after time and that miltuplied by 3000/- per cancellation, hmm some another bookings amount for tata.

wow, yes vibs this is actuall the reality where people might not have enough to buy petrol but wanna buy their dream affordable car,lets see whats the market response after its first batch .

sorry ram, but for many in this country would be moment of pride for owning one nano for them, man quite much families who would be owning first vehicles(say two or four)which does makes them feel this.
