no not kidding !
fit and finish, crappy plastic parts, panel gaps, buzzing interiors after a few hundred kms, rusting body panels in a couple of years... all that we already know about tata, if they can match japanese build quality even 80%, they can be a hit at their prices, but alas !!

oh yes. thats true. but you cant really comment on the quality of a new car which has not yet been completed. and also i see tata improving. and i see tata as a company that down the line will be the leader of auto industry atleast in india. and common you cant compare tata to japanese giants like toyota that have been building cars since 1937.

It is the 2.2l engine that is doing duty on Grande, Safari and Xenon, not sure about the power output of it though.voldemort wrote:Is this new engine or old 407 engine?

Thanks Crazy Cat, It looks more like a Marina to me! :frustration:Crazy cat wrote:No RR. This probably can't be the new Safari. This is the Innova/Xylo competitor from Tata. It is a MPV.Road Rocket wrote:will this be the new safari? Ot is it totally different car?

Agree with Road Rocket. Maybe marina is also getting facelifted loke its young sibling Indica Vista. N since Indigo Vista has already been spotted, Indigo Marina will surely be in queue..

indigo marina was not a successful model in A.P

Not only in AP, I don't think its a successful model anywhere in India but I have seen few Marina's as taxis.

thats true...Indigo Marina didnt sell much...It was mainly bought by car renters n taxi walas.I think Stationwagons dont sell much in india. We dont see many skoda combi or weekend(i know it was discontinued long ago) on road..

yes true. stationwagons are more famous in US as people there tend to travel more by their own cars. even cross country travel is done in their own cars. so they like to have stationwagons for keeping all their luggage.
where as in india people generally use public transport. so the concept of station wagon is pretty pointless here. those who want larger vehicle go for MUV's or SUV's which even help in accomadating large indian families :)
anyways lets get back to the topic, when is it expected to be launched?
waiting for your pics abhi

Nice spy pic abhi, From this closer picture, Indicruz doesn't looks like an estate, Its looking like a good xylo competitior, and it seems like its rear lamp will resemble with Indica family.

Great work abhi.
Nice to see indicruz testing in India.
Indicruz is looking good but it can be clearly seen that these front lamps are fake.
