Spanish rider Dani Pedrosa of Honda fractured his arm and deeply cut his knee during night testing in Qatar earlier this week and will have to undergo surgery, which could affect his preseason preparations.
Tests carried out on the 23-year-old at the circuit after his crash on Monday suggested he had not sustained any new broken bones, but more detailed exams carried out on Tuesday in Spain found he had fractured a bone in the forearm.
Pedrosa will undergo surgery at a Barcelona hospital to insert a titanium screw into the area.
He will also receive a small skin graft on his left knee, which had already been operated on in December following an accident in Australia.

Bad news for Dani Pedrosa, I hope he has a full and speedy recovery. Cant wait for the MotoGp season :D
