Yamaha Fazer 150 spied testing!

Yamaha India seems to be on a roll. First with the Yamaha R15, followed by the Yamaha FZ16 and then the Yamaha FZS. But Yamaha hasn’t stopped yet. They are testing the Fazer 150 for the Indian market and the 150cc segment sure is heating up. Bajaj has been affected by Yamaha’s 150cc attack and soon TVS will cause a bigger menace for Bajaj with the TVS Apache RTR 180. With so many bikes to be launched in the near future, Indian bike enthusiasts have a reason to rejoice, finally.

true.. it looks better than any of our indian bikes..!! i hope the look is hiding some higher performance as well...

This is the FZ1 1000cc which the FZ16 is mainly based on. So this is what the bike will looks like, that is the front faring.

I guess it will look better than original FZ. Why Yamaha is so eager to launch new variants of successful models. This is too early. I'm really frustrated with them. And i also heard that R25 is coming.

Do you mean R125 or is this something new R25???

It is a 250cc bike, that is all i know. I just guessed its name to be R25. Also read somewhere that Yamaha is planning to launch 150cc+ bikes in India, so this can be true.

It would be good if this Fazer gets that 250cc engine.

Yamaha to Launch Fazer on 6th July!

Yamaha’s FZ series bikes have been very sucessfully and thus Yamaha India plan to launch another bike on the FZ platform. The Fazer 150 will be launched in India on 6th July. Other than slight increase in power and full fairing, the Fazer 150 is very similar to the Yamaha FZ16. The Fazer is expected to cost Rs. 80,000 OTR, Mumbai.

Yamaha is really coming out with great bikes.
I think this would be a healthy competitor to the Pulsar 150 but then the price is high.
Hope it has some oomph to make it sell more in comparison to the 200 atleast.

Regarding power, FZ series has plenty of torque to keep going. Once on the move, i'm able to keep pace with my friend's P180(not the current one with 200 looks) with ease.

80000RS is quite a lot for a 150. You can get the new p220 for 70000, but then once again its YAMAHA

the bang from yamaha is right on spot and on time which has showed the heat in market with fz16 and r15, good going yamaha.

Fazer's looks didn't impress me much. The half fairing looks like a after market fitment.

it looks like an FZ16 fitted with an after market fairing.

This bike is launched now. It costs rs. 72,000 ex-showroom.

I think the naked one looks better. But still this is a looker

fazer is costing 81000 on road in hyderabad, and trust me guys, this bike is only for slow riders and looks, for me its not worth spending 81k on this bike
