If priced so high, Prius will be a big time loser. It is even dimensionally smaller that the Alits. It just doesn't make any sense. Plus, driving it in city traffic will be a big chore, thanks to poor visibility.

Toyota should consider to launch the Yaris instead of Prius in india.

Toyota has to reconsider the launch of the Prius. Admitted that it is environment friendly, but it will find very few takers. As it is we are having problems enforcing BS4 norms hence it is too soon to talk about full-fledged hybrids here.

Toyota Prius has been recently caught testing in Ooty, India by a TBHP member.

My brother(voldemort) said he spotted a blue colored Toyota car on the way to his school. he couldn't take pictures though. He said a small car from Toyota, so i thought it would be Yaris.

thats a good news tell him to atleast read the badge at rear end to know which exactly car did he spotted on his next look.

He was standing near the road and only he had a short look of the car. All he could notice was Toyota badge. I'll ask him to check whether this is the car, he saw that day.

He is quite busy with his studies, as he is in 12th. He goes to tuition and stuff, so he hardly uses computer. I'll tell him, if possible he'll join us.

Even I think it was the Prius Voldermort caught. The only hope I have from this car is decent pricing for us to afford, as Prius is a really good product.

No it wasn't the prius, I showed these pics to him. It is yaris which he has spotted.

hmm thats what i was telling all you guys since long days that company is planning to get yaris first in market then other cars as this was told by my friend who also happens to be the designer of car too.
