Mahindra Renault to launch two new models

Renault which has indefinetely put on hold introducing its cars in the Indian market from its upcoming plant today said that it would introduce two new models. Mahindra - Renault’s nashik plant has a production capacity of 50000 units but Mahindra - Renault sales barely produced 14000 units which makes the plant highly unutilised. For better utilisation of capacity, Mahindra Renault will intorduce two new models from this plant. “Our Nashik facility (capacity) is under-utilised. We are actively looking at introducing one or two new models from the plant in this year in order to have better utilisation of the capacity,” a Renault India spokesperson said. But he refused to divulge the details on the models. We already reported you Mahindra Renault is seriously mulling to bring Sandero hatchback to India.

Mahindra is planning to go all out in India.
One could be the sandero as mentioned. Any idea about the other one?

First is Sandero and second might be the Refreshed Logan. :)

But there was news that Renault will launch Sandero without mahindra's collabration.

I think renualt might bring in the clio

I dont think the clio would come into India.
The refreshed logan(dacia) was making news for a quite a while in the auto magazines

rear to me look somewhat much better!i like the vents in the frontbut again i dont like the grill much but it is still better than old logan!

firstly title of this thread should be Mahindra-Renault to launch new models and not mahindra.
second new logan looks better then previous one but as we have seen its new logan edge launched, i dont think for another year or so this new logan would be launched.

This one looks good to me, may be due to the fact i got used to boxy styling. I find this color impressive. When is this one expected? Any news on it?

this thing looks pretty impressive, the tail lamps look similar to those of the accent

Well, I hope the interiors are improved.
The rear is almost unchanged.
The car still looks equally boxy.
The front end is inspired from the Sandero and is pretty good.

I heard from somewhere that changes in interiors will not be much.

When Renault will be launching the face-lifted Logan, they'll discontinue the old one. If one upcoming model is the Sandero, the other should be either the Megane or the Laguna.
