This transparent tail lamp is already there for European models. I am not sure which version Swift has it, but I have seen this tail lamp in Denmark and Norway. I will try to figure out the version. I think its Swift Sports. I will confirm and keep you guys posted.

Oh, okay. Since I have seen many Swifts with this tail lamp, I thought its the new one.

i've seen many swift in my college with these kind of tail lamps, and one of my college mates has a different type of after market tail lamps which resemble the ones in the spy pics, ill try getting a pic of that next time i see his car in college

Wow, these look awesome. I don't think the next-gen Swift will come before 2011. So its pretty far off. The looks also haven't been changed much, though I think it may have bigger dimensions.

But Maruti can just give the current Swift with 1.2l k series engine. I doubt 2010 launch, because there isn't even a single news of it being tested here in India.

yes those are of more chances to see in indian version of new swift.Also its yet to be seen maruti testing new engine on swifts, so nothing to be said confirm about maruti coming out with new engine for this car as of now or early 2010.

in 2010 it is mandatory to change the engines as the current engines doesnt satisfy euro 4 norms,

Yeah buddy, but MSIL can just use 1.2l KB engine in current Swift itself.

I just hope that the KB series engine is tuned up a bit to unleash that performance that the G-series engine is so famous for.

As per the reviews, both the engine would be so good, especially for spirited driving. The 1.2 is second only to Honda's 1.2.

so we might see new swift around year end or even before that too, good news then.
any chances to see changes in interiors as well like glam edition innew swift?
