Nope. As Crazy cat mentioned, so far there is no information on this version, coming to India :(

very bad, why dont car manufacturers launch these models in india?

swift would come with new 1.2 KB seried petrol engine and new DDiS 1.3 diesel engine which is euro4 norm applicable which is running in newly launched Ritz, expect some minor changes in new swift with new headlamps and rear lamps but nothing great then existing.

i would love to see this new swift launching, but dont expect to come here anytime before 2010.

maybe this is the new swift which is going to come with the 1.2kb series engine

I too think so, because i couldn't see much changes in this spied car. It might be a face lift.

yes it might be a face lifted swift with the new 1.2kb engine. they might be testing the new engine on swift and tune the engine accordingly.

if it is tuned to match the power of the currently existing 1.3 swift, its well and good else it will be a problem

well, it would be almost matching the current petrol engine, with slight lesser power to compare for better fuel efficiency which current one lacks.

yeah even i dont think there will be much difference in the power. whatever little difference will be there may not be noticeable by common people who dont have much knowledge about cars.

If you look at the 2nd rear image, It looks like that the Reg. Plate will be placed on the hatch this time instead of bumper where currently it sits.

But i think it won't be placed there, it'd look awkward.

It seems like the No.Plate will be positioned on the hatch, It wont look good if the rest of rear will be same.

Looking at the above pics, I think what RR said is correct. I was trying to imagine that look ! It will look awkward according to me Or is it that they have put extra cover on the rear wiper so as to mislead the public ?

they wont do anything like this but just to mislead people.

In these new sets of pics, it is clear that it is just a face lift and also the number plate location is same as current Swift

guys it can be clearly seen that its a face lift of the current swift, no changes in the body at all, and looking at the history of indian automobile market, we are only seeing facelifts of cars being called as all new <"car name">, but its being said that this variant has the k-series 1.2ltr engine to satisfy new stage4 norms

Yes. The Reg. Number plate is on same postion as on the current model.
From spy pics I can see that headlamps are quite large and sharp looking, Also did anyone noticed that Tail lamps looks like transparent, similar to Cedia sport's!

yes vibs they are transperent ones which are facelifts for this new swift.

@vibs, its transparent but this is not the model, its different, it doesnt have circular lamps inside, it has all rectanguler and square shaped lamps

I think the tail lamps will be looking similar to new Innovas tail lamps
