yeah lights suggest this to be new swift, may be with its new petrol engine.

From the pics, even the new-Gen Swift doesn't have enough space at the back. The mirrors look odd, like it belongs to Innova, etc..
But overall this looks just like a face lift.

NO Major changes, Jus looks like Facelifted Swift

The design looks same but can't say much because its heavily disguised.

nice. looks like facelift. but mostly new engine as well as the car is being tested in cold conditions.

Overall styling n deesign looks very similar to the existing one.

I think this new Swift is dimensionally larger. Any idea as to when it will hit the Indian shores?

looks almost similar to the current one, only minor changes life the tail lamps and the head lamps, maybe some body curves will be included, not sure about that

I guess it won't be as spacious as i20

what seems new are the front and rear lamps from those pics nothing change in dimensions, any more updates on this guys??

Heard that the new Swift will have a new engine (not sure petrol or diesel) with added power, aesthetics will change, and possible will have indicators on the mirror! Nothing on other spec ! NOt sure about the final product though

Yeah that's true. But I think that will be a stupid move if it will have the same output. Swift needs a power full engine, some thing around 100 bhp at the least :D

Swift will get 1.2l KB series engine, that is doing duty on Ritz. But it'll not be much powerful, may be a bit more than current 1.3l engine.

Its really sad. Swift Sport, in European, comes equipped with a 1.6-liter VVT engine, creating 125 HP. Check this link to Swift Sports...the speedo shows up to 240 km/h

If they bring that 1.6l engine here, then that would make Swift to continue as a hot hatch. A much needed with increasing competition. But at present, there aren't any rumour or talks about it.

just 200?the current swift with 1.3 engine hits 180 max and how come 1.6ltr engine hitting 200 only?

May be its locked at 200! I am not sure, but the the speedo shows up to 240 km/h :) (ref: my earlier post).
