@sparsh, we all think Camry is capable of beating Accord, provided it comes with a lesser price tag. Price is the biggest let down for Camry.
But Camry is set to be manufactured in India soon. Expect some changes in sales charts.

People, Don't forget the new Skoda Superb, IMO, It can beat both, the Accord and Camry because its a total luxury + performace package,Now don't ask me about skoda's ASS.

Skoda Superb 3.6L V6 is the best V6 of the lot, better than the Accord and Teana's, but still, I haven't really had a liking for the new Superb.

I've sat in both the cars, Teana and accord(old), In the two Teana is most comfy, Its rear seats can rival the best sofas available around!

but what skoda lacks is its ASS department, also its dealer network andattitude which can never beat japanese in that. :offtopic:

To best of my knowledge, Skodas ASS is the worst in all foreign brands..I have owned Toyota qualis n never had any bitter experience...Coming back to the topic..as far as the new camry is concerned i find it very similar tothe existing one.The face is very similar to its younger sibling Corolla Altis.Toyota should have given the car newer look since existing one has been around for sometime n its competittor Accord already had a major facelift last year..

I've always preferred the accord, Even if it was of older gen. I liked it.
Teana is also in the list but mostly, Only the comfort concious people prefer it.

for me too. accord wins the game. specially the 2008 accord. its just super amazing.
off topic: did you know the 2008 Accord is even 'longer' than the Merc E class, Audi A6 and the BMW 5 series.

main reason camry didnt do well was its pricing and there Honda took market with Accord, handling wise camry is better, riding and peppyness is what u get in Accord, though have not driven any of them saying from the people who own it.

Even I feel that Camry is better for the highway and hilly regions than Accord, which feels light and tinny, especially with the new V6 engine, which the Accord;s chassis is incapable of handling.

i have driven Accord 2.4 and ride n handling is not an issue for the car. Not driven Camry yet so cannot judge the best but as far as styling is concerned, i would rate even the previous gen Accord above Camry.
