Hyundai to launch new updated Verna!

Hi guys!!After the launch of i20 in December, Hyundai will kickstart the 2009 with the launch of new verna facelift. The D-segment where verna competes has witnessed most action in 2008. Honda rocked the market with the launch of new city, Ford facelifted the Fiesta and by mid January there will be another serious contender - Linea from Fiat. To counter these new models and to make verna contemporary. The facelifted new verna will come with minor changes in exterior and interior styling. The new verna will also get few valuable features with this facelift. A chrome strip on top of the grille and refreshed bumper are the new bits in the exterior. The refreshed interiors will include a new integrated music system. The new facelifted verna will be launched with in a week or two from now. As Hyundai is planning to launch the new Sonata embera facelift this month, you can expect the new verna after 1oth January.(Vicky.in) :yup:

The Hyundai Accent manages a 5 star US NHTSA crash test result for frontal crashes for both the driver and passenger. Safety features include a driver airbag, antilock brakes and pretensioner seatbelts for the front passengers.

For the 5 star it has got only driver airbag. Is this rating on a 5 or 10 star scale?

The facelifted new verna will have a new face and refreshed interiors. Also new is the automatic gearbox for the diesel verna. Yes, for the first time, the segment will have a diesel automatic.

* Leather wrapped steering wheel and leather wrapped TGS knob in the new verna automatic
* Height adjustable front seat belt anchor

Hey thats really a great package & now hyundai is modding its verna with the gadgets in all other cars.

But why 14" in verna, they could have gone for 15" minimum.

With this Hyundai adds some more value to the pricey Verna.

outer looks seems almost the same as its old version, but interior as archit says are similar of i20 which also shows in that link, Automatic diesel verna would be good and first of its kind in our market, so now pricey verna gets more pricey.;)

Auto Verna will come later. only manual comes with face lift. I read somewhere that it will take 6months for the auto to come
