Racing Kit for Yamaha bikes- R15 and FZ16

The R15 and FZ-16 were caught testing the performance kits on a racetrack in Japan

Well it's true and boy are we glad. Yamaha has developed Race Kits for its popular R15 and FZ16 bikes with the help of Daytona Corporation, Japan. Daytona develops and supplies original and customized motorcycle parts and accessories to the International marketplace. The firm specializes is R&D and development of country specific high quality motorcycle parts for manufacturers.

Check out the video where Japanese test riders are pushing the Daytona Race Kits fitted R15 and FZ-16 to the limit. Seeing Yamaha work on a Race Kit for the FZ-16 as well shows how committed the motorcycle maker is about boosting performance-biking in India.

Coming back to the video, the only information we have as of now is that these Race Kits are heading to India real soon. Don't miss the Exhaust system, back step and Wave disk.

Yeah archit, but from the video, the only thing that attracted me visually is the RVMs, the OEM mirrors are the only thing which i always hated, as it was borrowed from Crux. Now i'll definitely get this RVM, as soon as it is launched.

Secondly the big disc is nice. But it'll cost no about Rs. 3k, i won't go and the OEM silencer looks good already and i don't want to spoil.

They will be available in India real soon, that's what mentioned in the source. With competition rising in the biking segment, Yamaha is forced to give much needed performance for its bikes.

What is the update in this?

I think that the update is that those kits are coming to India! ;)

Yamaha has been my favorite bike since teenage. I still love the older version of the 100CC which I own.

These kits are now introduced and will be available from September this year. The sad thing is most of these kits are for track purpose and aren't street legal.
