Volkswagen testing polo engine in Seat Ibiza!

Hello Guys!
Seat is a spanish car manufacturer owned by the Volkswagen group. The Seat
Ibiza is essentially a rebadged Volkswagen Polo and both the cars are based on the PQ25
platform. A bright red Seat Ibiza with german plates was at ARAI (Automotive
Research Association of India). No the Seat Ibiza is not being launched in
India, but Volkswagen is testing the 1.2 TSI engine on the Ibiza for the
upcoming Polo due to be launched next year.The above Ibiza was spotted by Karl, a team-bhp member in Pune. Maybe Seat
thinks that if a car can run on Indian roads, it can run anywhere. :winkthumb:

I wish the Polo comes like this.

I also heard of another car which was doing rough road testing in India. Any car runs on India, can run well on other parts of the world.

even polo is good but Golf would make more sense as it has world status also!

:lol!: lol!true, they can even run on off roading terrains after being tested on Indian roads!

How much power does the 1.2 TSi motor put out? And yes, the Ibiza looks much better that the Polo..

I like the front of the Ibiza but the rear is just too broad looking.

Even the polo sedan is going to come into India soon.
