Biking on a budget...Yamaha TZR. Empty Biking on a budget...Yamaha TZR.

    Post  Zal 4th April 2009, 3:42 pm

Want to reach the top of the superbike tree? There’s no better starting point
than the saddle of a TZR50. The TZR50’s superbike feel starts with its foxeye
lights, lightweight alloy wheels, sports exhaust and full aerodynamic bodywork.
Up close there’s exquisite detailing, from the alloy footrests to the R1-style
analogue tachometer with separate LCD speedo. Big disc brakes front and rear
work with the beautifully engineered left-foot gearchange linkage that connects
you to six perfectly-spaced ratios. Linking long, sweeping curves is especially
satisfying on the TZR50 thanks to the extra stability of its 17inch wheels. The
TZR50 weighs just 114kg, so manoeuvring it is child’s play. There’s no doubting
the quality of Yamaha engineering. And there’s no question that, just like a
Yamaha R6 or R1, the TZR50 is 100% pure motorcycle.

No, no. Its a 50cc. I wish we got it here, but in nz you can ride a 50cc on car license. So this would sell....very well. Check out the seat height, tires, wheels....Its more than the R15...
Do you think it would do well in India?

The displacement of this bike is very less. This looks a more bigger bike. What are its performance figures?

And also, is this a new bike? I thought 2 strokes were out of production.

I am surprised that the engine doesn't blow. That video the guy had the bike's rpm go all the way to the end of the red line. :affraid:

Also this bike is more for people who have just got their car license. I don't know the rules in euro. But as I have said you can ride a 50cc on car license here and in USA you don't even need a license.

I think that is only for the non-geared less than 50cc. But that too we need to get license and the age limit is 16.

You are right CC. License in 16 is only for the gearless vehicle less than 50cc.For that we must produce a gearless vehicle less than 50cc(TVS 50) to RTO and then we can get license.
