GM to launch new variant of chevy Spark!

General Motors is planning to launch an all new variant of its popular hatch - Chevrolet Spark. GM has not yet revealed any information or specification on this upcoming new variant but we expect it soon.This new variant may also be the one with 800CC engine under hood which was in news earlier. Currently we get Chevy spark with four variants, That is the 1.0L, PS, LS and LT, another is soon going to join this range.

Also, The German car maker is working on developing diesel engines for India, which will have capacity of 1 litre to 1.5 litres and will be offered in not only in the upcoming models but also in some of the existing models in its Indian product portfolio. The transmission plant is at advanced stage of implementation the company will bring out engines by early 2010. :)

this is good news vibs, i would be eager to see its smaller diesel engines, as was speculated that new U-Va might come with diesel option, so company is planning to come up with it is a good news, also its 800cc smaller engine for alto-800 market.CHEERS!!

Its great that diesel engines are coming :bounce: . And also these engines coming in 2010 is a good thing too.

Hey Vibhor! This is a old new buddy, I have been hearing this news in many places for around 4 months!

But recession makes GM to rethink twice before invest anything newly. SO i hope Diesel engines will take some time.

GM is working for 1.1L and 1.4L diesel engines for its current models, which would be good for diesel buyers with more diesel car options to go for, along with the maintenance plan GM is offering, if that continues for diesel cars too, it would be gr8 ownership.

Even i read this article in todays Newspaper, they haven't mentioned anything about the specs.
