Bajaj launches its new bike in A.P!

Hi Guys!
The Popular Indian bike maker, Bajaj, On Friday launched its new bike in Andhra Pradesh, TheBajaj XCD 135DTS-Si, and expects to retain over 50-55 plus market share in the 125 cc and above category in the State.

“The market trends point towards a growing preference of bikes of 125 cc and above category and the launch of this new bike will further consolidate the market share for the company.” Said, The Area Manager of Bajaj Auto, Mr.Jagan Mohapatra.

Isn't this one not be launched in other parts?

It competes with Disco 135 of bajaj and XCD 125 and will give some sadness to their owners.

isnt the front styling of its headlamps looks familier with yamaha fz, discover 135 is already not doin that gr8 for bajaj, so may be co. might stop that and continue with xcd range.

It looks nice if it weren't for the dual rear shock. And also it should have had a bigger engine.

I saw its front fairing in OD, it is not like FZ or other bikes. It is somewhat different. OD guys commented that it reminds naked italian street bikes.
I didnot like its loooks though. It looks like it came out in half production.

guys saw a programme on TV right now, and saying by them that bajaj has messed up with its handling and riding, with fairly launched to sell it aside pulsar and to takeover this segment, but nothing gr8 else then its FE part which was worked on,but nothing gr8 about this bike.CHEERS!!!

@vijay, what did they say about power?

well CC it is marginally more as its on the discover 135, may be thats why bajaj wants this one to position along with its pulsar 150, is what was quoted on that show, but its handling and riding is not that gr8 as it should be.

I read in OD that Bajaj wants this to serve as an alternative to Pulsar. So i just asked to clarify about it.

yes CC, it was quoted that bajaj would serve as pulsars alternative,but they missed out on few things on this new xcd, so lets see how does it performs in market now.
