Mercedes Benz cars will become more expensive from the middle of next month. The luxury car maker has announced it will hike prices mid-February on account of fluctuations in input prices and adverse exchange rates.
A statement released here quoted managing director and CEO, Mercedes Benz India, Dr Wilfried Aulbur, saying: “We have absorbed significant levels of cost escalation, but cannot continue to sustain such levels beyond a point. We are going to increase prices of all Mercedes Benz cars from mid-February.”
A company spokesperson added that while the quantum of rise, or even its exact date, is yet to be finalised, it will be in the same percentile for all cars across the board. (cybersteering)
