I've used the following uptil now.
On my NHC VTEC
Bridgestone stock - 175/65R14- used for 25k kms
Michelin XM1+ - 195/60R14 - 10k kms
Yokohoma S Drives - 195/50R15- 3k kms uptil now.
Skoda Octavia vRs
Pirelli P6000 205/55R16- 10k kms uptil now.
Best of the Lot has been Yokohomas.
Though i'm yet to test PP2s etc from other brands.
But i feel the best of the lot is the Yokos.

i had mrf zvts for 6years on my m800, they were ok but not that good at handling, then got ceats for some stupid reason and trust me those were the worst i ever used, now after a big survey i upsized my car wheels and tyres
my stock tyres were 145/70 r12 from mrf
now upsized to 165/60 r13 from bridgestone potenza g3 and hr recing 8004 13" alloys
and now the handling, riding comfort increased a lot, im sure i can break my top speed of 145 on my m800 which was achieved long time ago on my ceat tyres as soon as they were installed
i also drove m800 on michelins 155/70 r12 and the riding comfirt and handling were good but as the survey stated, michelin doesnt offer wet performance as much as the bridgestone potenza does so i opted for the g3's

It is Michelin for me. It stays good for a longer period. With good amount of grip even near the end of its life

bridgestones are the best for indian roads as they are cheap and are available in various variety...

very bad, i thought my next change will be to yoko's s-drive
but still ill check with my dealer because 155/70 r12 is not mentioned in the website of michellin but in the indian market they are available so maybe in this case also we might find the s-drives in 165/60 r13

ya, that was one of the reasons
mainly was due to performance improvement...

i was about to get a 14" on my car with extreme low pros, they are just gonna cost few more thousands but then i came through these low pro's pros and cons and then asked for suggestions from people who already where using low pros and decided not to go for them, because at times im forced to handle my car very badly that the impact will be soo hard on the wheel that a low pro will not with stand and the rim will surely break and that may lead to a disaster when im on high speeds so dropped the idea and got 13" replacing the stock 12"
