FIAT Brazil Sells 10Million Cars!

Fiat is celebrating in Brazil, with its ten millionth vehicle produced in the Latin American country – all of which is helping to give Fiat more than a quarter of the local market and the number one spot. Fiat has been building cars and light commercial vehicles in Brazil since 1976 and today the Fiat factory in Betim produces 15 different models and hundreds of variants, with more than 3000 vehicles produced per day.
In May, Fiat sold 60,628 vehicles to take 25.5%t of the Brazilian market, ahead of Volkswagen and General Motors, thus enabling Fiat to claim the number one spot in the market for the first five months of this year.

Brazil is one of the biggest market for Fiat with some wide range of vehicles. It's good to know that Fiat has something to celebrate at this time of recession.

This is no surprise to me because FIAT has been producing its vehicles in Brazil from long time and it has good reputation there unlike in India.
