Barack Obama is one of the most well known faces in the world today and an Italian car manufacturer has tried to ride on the mass popularity of the new US President by using his image in it's advertisements.
Car manufacturers Lancia have used Obama's image and his catch phrase 'Yes We Can' to sell it's cars in Italy, but it is not known whether the company has acquired permission from the President to do so, reported Los Angeles Times.
Earlier a popular American toy manufacturer had launched a range of dolls modelled on the President's young daughters, Sasha and Malia, but they had to be removed from the market after the First Lady Michelle Obama objected to it.
Recently an American Apparel company was sued for millions by director Woody Allen who accused them of wrongfully using his image in an advertisement without prior permission.
It is yet not clear whether Obama will react in a similar way to the advertisement or take it in his stride as an apt tribute.
