    Honda Motorcycles India has launched a new version of the CBF Stunner equipped with PGM-FI (Programme Fuel Injection) technology, which gives more power. The Honda CBF Stunner FI is priced at Rs 64,630 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The launch is part of the company’s strategy to increase its sales in the Indian two-wheeler market. The CBF Stunner FI will be available in the market by the first week of June.

    “Last fiscal we sold about 10.7 lakh units of two-wheelers and this year we are targeting 12 per cent increase at 12.5 lakh units. And the CBF Stunner will play an important role,” HMSI Chief Executive Officer Shinji Aoyama said.

    Hey vibhor, Does FI has the same 125cc engine??If so then its too costly...

    Honda can't taste success with this one. Spending around 70000 for a 125cc bike? They should have used a 150cc bike instead and sell it for 75000. That would be a good buy.

    this thing looks similar to the existing stunner but with an expensive price tag, i dont think this will sell good

    The Hero Honda Glamour 125 cc was also launched with EFI just when the Pulsar 220 with the EFI was launched. There were only 2 bikes with EFI available then sometime in 2007. The Glamour by HH was withdrawn from the market due to some EFI malfunctions.
    Honda which has a cutting edge technology wise over HH, now with its new Stunner and the PFI,will surely click. The advantages will be more power, better fuel combustion and consumption figures and less pollution.

    increase in power? how can he increase power unless the cc of the engine?
    even if he does increase power, it will more or less be the same

    well there are a lot of factors on which a power generated by engine depends on.. just as an example maybe they have changed the fuel and air ratio.. even though the power developed wont increase much but in a light weight vehicle like a motorbike even a slightest change shows a noticeable difference...

    as you said, fuel and air ratio change will effect the fuel econoy for sure

    But Glamour was also designed by Honda. A team from Japan worked with HH engineers. Hope this time Honda does well, as far as reliability is concerned.

    There are many ways to do so. Take the example of Pulsar, with same CC, its power has increased from 12.8 to 14 BHP.

    The power has increased from 11bhp(regular stunner) to 11.6bhp(FI version).

    0.6bhp increase and 65kmpl economy is not enough to convince people to shell out 64000bucks for this 125cc.

    Yeah agreed :agree: . Not many are going to buy a 11.6BHP bike for nearly 70k(estimated OTR). It should be 13BHP at least.

    I guess it was the same. But these are test figures, and that too rounded off. In real life, it could improve(FI over carb), at least a bit.
