That is sad but he should know that road is not a race track where you drive at 100+ Kph. :frustration:

the really is very different than wots mentioned in the news...

its always a breaking news for these newpapers... but no one wud see that these iliterates on the roads who just jump in front of u and to try to save them, how many times it has led to an accident ...

he might be having good experience but driving at 100+kmph and that too on unorganised roads like india is not at all suggestable, dont you think so?
its both his and the illiterates mistake, we cant completely blame a single person in an accident, in most of the cases the mistake will be from both the sides

when people dont know what and how it happened we better not talk about it.

and regarding driving over 100+, that was not the case here.

it just happened that he floored the accelerator and just as the Turbo spooled this guy jumped in. mihir pulled the handbrake and the car hit the man sideways. he couldnt have done anything else.

no damage was done to the car.

no bumper is seen in the pic as the car was being driven without the bumper.

but in the news paper it was mentioned that an autorik was also involved in the accident, :?:

i dont understand why these news papers make it a big issue, its good to write what exactly happened but writing what dint happen is misleading people

Well, The fault must have been from both the sides, I would not only blame the cyclist.
And I agree that media spices up the news but they don't it in excess, The mentioned speed of 100Kph must be true and first of all the question comes is whats the meaning of driving a supercar in congested roads of india, and that with the mods which were not street legal.
Everyone knows whats the case in reality so theres no use of defending a single person.

1) why did he floor the throttle when he was not sure of what is lying ahead?
2) why was he driving without a bumper? bumpers are important considering pedestrian safety in mind.

infact the road he used is not congested
the milkman just decided to cross all of a sudden
this happens a lot in mumbai
he floored as the road was empty and as its a very lonely road

Whatever the excuse you may give, we(I mean drivers) can't control other vehicles, pedestrians on the road, and any such obstacles. What we can do is control our own vehicle and in this case, it has become beyond the control of driver. He may be an expert, but still this is not a race track. No offence dude. But still it is a matter of lives of people. We can't just hit them, by blaming them. It is our responsibility to drive safe. As we know about the illiterates and their action. Even if we prove our side right, people aren't going to accept it. The loser is the driver, getting beaten up by public is not thing which everyone wants.
