These are the pics of another 800, in which an G13a engine was shoehorned.
As again, many said it wasnt possible, the engine bay is too small, etc etc. but it has been done.
Mods include relocated Engine mounts, Custom Driveshafts.
Can take on Stock OHCs with ease.
    clap
    Images as follows.
Pls forgive the low quality. My MotoRAZR doesnt give any better pics.

Cool 8) . Good to see a 800 with Esteem engine. I've heard Zen with such mods, but never with 800. Post some exterior pis too.

    nope.
I dont want peopleto know the status of the car. I wanna see their faces when i smoke 'em.
Still cant forget the face of the Scorpio Driver whom i bet on the expressway with the other 800.
He never thought a 800 will overtake him at 140. he he.

Dont do it. Believe me. that engine is of no use. Puts out a measly 63 horses, and no low end at all.
Opt for an G13a instead. the carburated one. add a FFE, port+polish, headers, rejet the carb. and u hava a rocket.

Forget it. An MPFI transplant is as hard as u can think. You mess up the electonics, you're gone.
and whats the prob with carbs? they give much better performance compared to Fuel injection.
Why do you think all those 8000bhp V8 dragsters have downdraft carbs??

But the 800 ECU wont fit the esteen engine.you will have to rewire it completely. and it is a tough job.Believe me. all the sensors need to be retofitted. and with such a cramped engine bay, working on it will be a pain.

Go turbo and cam it.If it's an mpfi job,you can run it with a swapped out ecu.I don't recommend piggy backs for this kind of work.
Alternately,I've seen a few vids on youtube in which some amateur racers did a DIY mid engined 800 in poland or some east european country.Fitted a turbo esteem engine into it.Traction was a problem as was the cable linked selector.
Looking at the 800,i would love to drop a kawasaki big bore bike engine into it.The situne guys did it for a ford escort using a cbr1100xx engine and custom made prop shaft.
