Re: Your Personal mobile?
Sony has a decent battery. It is good for Music and other sort of entertainment, but it drains faster(than other phones) when more calls are made.
@hummer, 3230 was my first GSM phone. It was great phone at that time.
@siddhant, once the phone is in water, it is better to replace it. As it may lead to major expenses.

Re: Your Personal mobile?
well sony batteries are nothing compare to NOKIA,the battery was fine when the phone was new and today when it is a year old and also because of the damage maybe the battery life is not impressive.
@cc-i know that buddy,my phone was a total disaster a week later but it was under warranty.Though phones which have been spoilt due to water are not accepted by the service center, but i got it repaired somehow without any expenses because i knew that person. But still the phone gives me some minimal problems.

Re: Your Personal mobile?
I like the N95 8GB better than the N96. Its because of the shape. But N96 is really just a N95 with a bit more.

Hi i am using Sony Ericsson P910i and Sony Ericsson P1i. Both of them are business phones and i am a die hard fan of Sony Ericsson. They are tough and durable. The only dislike is aftersales service.

Re: Your Personal mobile?
Even its my favourite man.
I have been using it since september 2007. Mine has been repaired twice for the mic and once for the screen (outside). It has a few cracks on the outside panel and the camera button is not present.
Still i love it.

Re: Your Personal mobile?
In an article in MyMobile, they have found out that Sony Ericsson phones deteriorates faster than Nokia. Especially the battery, that gets weaker. Nokia won in that test.zinam wrote:Not only Sony Batteries, Even their phones are really good :)

Re: Your Personal mobile?
Yeah some models had battery failure. I think a particular model of battery had some problems. Mine(5310) is fine, lasts very well. But the phones like 6300 and Prism were not that good. And also heard that Nokia has stopped that battery and can't be find in any new phones. But overall Sony has poor build quality, faced many problems in my mom's K810i, including batter after 8 months of usage. Speaker too has distortion problems.

Re: Your Personal mobile?
Come on man, i'm not in a mood of argument. It is just out of frustration, because of all the problems and number of hours wasted in Sony Ercisson service centre, where they don't even have proper arrangements in the waiting area. Joy stick and Camera keys are worked for cash, as they are not covered under the warranty. I know about W810, my uncle had it. It was a great phone. But in overall Sony Ericsson's quality sucks. Body gets scratched easily, flip model(clamshell) phones rattles, battery problem, paint in keypad goes off, etc..
