New SUVs Coming to India!

Indian auto market seems promising to nearly every auto manufacturer around the globe. Moreover, the Indian customers had taken a liking to the SUV models and Indian SUV market has been expanding each year. Although the overall domestic auto market has decelerated by 2 percent, nevertheless the premium SUV market has witnessed a whopping 38 percent YoY growth.

The most interesting news is that Indian market is ready to witness premium SUV models from all the luxury car makers like Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche as well as other passenger car makers like GM, Toyota and Nissan.

The latest model ready to hit the Indian roads is Toyota Fortuner with a rugged yet classy look with fashionable interiors. Mercedes Benz GL class will rival Audi’s upcoming SUV model Q7 that is also ready to hit the Indian market. The Mercedes Benz GL class is a 7-seater counterpart of Mercedes Benz M-class. BMW X6 is a mid-sized sports activity coupe with high ground clearance and all wheel drive like an SUV but having the stance of a coupe. Audi Q5 which is a crossover model will also make its entry in the Indian auto market by next year along with the Q7 model. Range Rover produced by Land Rover in the UK will also imported by Tata group by next year.

Would you buy the Mahindra Scorpio or the Honda Civic

personally I would go for the Scorpio reason being i prefer SUVs to sedans.
Also I feel more like the king of the road driving the Scorpio
Add premium diesel and it gets a sting.
Everybody gives way to a SUV, even truck drivers.

Good news RR, Its very nice to know that foreign carmakers are stepping in into the Indian market with thier all new tec. loaded products, Soon we will have a good range of high end SUVs.

Audi Q5!

Nice pics archit, did you snapped it?
I like the Q5, it has got great design and styling like other Audis and its front lamps are just like new A4, overall a good car and will give a tough time to the ageing X3!

I was always fond of the Q7. The Q5 looks like its baby brother. As far as the X6 is concerned, its got everything apart form good looks. Too many design ques jumbled up together.
