@Vibhor, The car went and crashed into a huge boulder at night. Though not the driver's fault as a car was in front who couldn't spot the boulder and our car was behind that. Had no reaction time as it was on a thoroughfare, say like the Ring Road of Delhi. Damages estimate at 1.5 lakh. Airbags costing 1.1lakh.

Yeha it'll cost that much easily. For Skoda, 1 one airbag cost around 1 lac.

what?? each airbag costs 1lakh? its tht expensivE? in hyundai a pair of airbags cost around 30k

when you will need to change airbags, you have to change other things like dashboard, steering wheel, seatbelts, front pads, and all other things. I have stalled the work and taken it up with Maruti. Its impossible for us to afford so much.
