    Well leaf springs are a totally different kind of suspension system.
    Unlike Normal springs which provide smooth ride, the leaf springs provide rigidity.
    u can see these in any Truck or a Pickup.
    These are Metal plates Stack one upon another, which gives a cushioning effect.
    Trucks, vans and some S.U.Vs use this thing.

    SECOND POST

    In a coil type suspension, a hydraulic cylinder is placed between a coil of spring, attached to the axle.
    Advantage of this over Leaf Spring - Gives a Smooth Ride and better manouvarability.

    hey this is real great guys!!

    by the way, in cars, we see engine specifications 1.2l. 1.6l..
    and also in bikes, 200cc 300cc..
    what exactly do these numbers mean??
