HERE'S MY RIDE GUYS, THE 2007 DODGE CHARGER R/T. IT HAS A 5.7 LITRE V8 HEMI, PRODUCING 362BHP, 520NM OF TORQUE, 0-60MPH(I.E 0-96KMPH) IN4.8 SECS. POWER IS SENT TO THE REAR WHEELS BY A 5 SPEED AUTOSTICK TRASMISSION.
IT HAS A VARIABLE CYLINDER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM(CMS) , THAT IS UNTIL YOU ARE DRIVING NORMALY OR BELOW 80 MPH, 4 CYLINDERS ARE OPERATIONAL, AS SOON AS YOU PRESS HARD ON THE ACCELERATOR 8 CYLINDERS COME ALIVE.
I HAVE DRIVEN 8000KMS TILL NOW, BUT NO SIGNS OF AGEING IS SHOWN BY THE BEAST.
GADGETRY INCLUDES- ON BOARD VEHICLE MANAGEMENT COMPUTER( SAME AS THE I DRIVE OF THE BMW), POWER SEATS AND PEDALS, DUAL ZONE CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM, SUNROOF, CRUISE CONTROL AND 6 AIRBAGS.

Hey Aviral, thats a nice ride you got here. Its got a beast of an engine. Post a more detailed review please. The pictures are very nice.

YEAH IT IS BUILT ON THE SAME PLATFORM AS THAT OF THE CHRYSLER 300C AND THE NEW DODGE CHALLENGER, AND THE MERC. E CLASS. IT IS KNOWN AS THE LX PLATFORM BORROWED BY THE CHRYSLER FROM THE MERCEDES.
IT RETURNS THE MILAGE OF ABOUT 8-9 KMPL( DRIVEN NORMALLY), 6KMPL FOR SPIRITED DRIVING.
CHRYSLER PROVIDES WITH DECENT SERVICE AND HELPLINE, ONCE MY FREIND ACCIDENTLY BROKE THE SHIFT MECHANISM OF THE GEARBOX, WITHIN 24HRS FROM THE COMPLAIN, CHRYSLER OMAN DEALER ZUBAIR AUTOMOTVE LTD RETURNED THE CAR WITH A NEW SHIFT MECHANISM.

Yeah i have tried doughtnuts and burnouts.
no Drifts though, coz it doesn't have a handbrake!!!!

Yeah its pretty simple, first of all u need a rear wheel drive car, with good brakes,
Apply the E-Brake( or the Handbrake) , hold the rpm where your engine produces maximum horsepower( in my case it was 6800rpm), Select D in Automatic transsmission or the 1st Gear in the manual, Rotate you steering antilockwise and lock it, LET GO OF THE CLUTCH OR THE BRAKE.!!
Do remeber this thing may Destroy your Clutch , brakes or Even your Whole transmission.

why no handbrake?

It has a E-Brake, it is operated by Foot!!!!
It is placed where we have Clutch paddle in the manual cars..
It is electronically controlled!!! :frustration:

The typical handbrake is better if i am not wrong?

Yes it is better....
But the charger can drift without Handbrake or The E-Brake also.. :D

This is the 5speed Autostick Trasmission.
I have forgot to mention some of the features - Auto Headlamps, Home Coming Lights, Sunlight Sensor and Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
