Now both of these cars are from the 2 leading car manufacturers in India. Both are in the same category... further more they are evenly matched to add to the fun.
So I ask my fellow members to award the winner

Hyundai i10:Hyundai's small wonder the i10 is a car that has done extremely well in the market powered by the 1.1L iRDE and 1.2L kappa the car has a light and zippy factor to it. Also its the 1st car of its segment to have a Euro-5 ready emission norms. Its a family car in all, its ideal for the man with a family comprising his wife and 2 kids. Also due to its small size its rather manouverable around the city, fuel-efficiency is implied. All-over its a very good package(I mean SRK would'nt endorse it for nothing). So go ahead catch the i. :drive2:

Maruti Suzuki A-star:A car in a class of its own. It was designed with the modern couple in mind who drive on their own, which explains the uncomfortable rear seat. However powered by the 1L KB-10 engine which is rather peppy to say the least, it offers a phenomenal pick up, also in the drivers seat you feel like riding a volvo bus. The car is more like a bachelor's car, ideal to take the girl next door out on a date in. Its modern looks lends to it a subtle boyish charm. When the Company said it wouldnt stop @ nothing they werent kidding, the only thing which can stop this car is either a brick wall or a flat tyre. 👍

I voted for A-star, because i10 acts as a small car when it has even four persons on board. Its ride is bad when loaded up. Moreover A-star is good in many aspects, except boot space and rear seat, which i don't need.

Hey CC, Do you really mean A-star is better than i10? Then you got to TD both the cars before commenting on that.

A-star has got just 3 pot cylinders which is never equal to 16v DOHC of i10 :)

Voted for i10, Just love my car :D

There is no bias here, since i owned it, A-star is really a underperformer when compared to i10 & even Reviews tell that !

I didn't mean the engine actually, it was the suspension setup. It was too soft for our large adults(only less suspension travel left out with all the load on board), which A-star is better. And also I test drove the 1.1l irde engine only, it was a real bad performer when loaded up. I never driven i10 kappa with persons at the back, so couldn't comment on that. Though engine has been changed, suspension should be the same i guess.
