Because i haven't seen Green HIDs anywhere on the spectrum.

it happened a month back when we we have gone for the civic it was standing there at the workshop

as for my knowledge:

1000k -red
2000-orange
3000-dark yellow (street lights )
4300k sunlight (used street legal in 99% of the OEM's headlights)
5000k whitish with yellow tint
6000k pure milky white
8000k white with blue tint
10000k bluish
12000k purple tinty




i would ask mods to make a new thread for the same for getting information for another users


the last three are for show offs only and not street legals

good information smikin, hmm so those coloured leds are not legal and was thought so, is only for showoff.Usually whitish with yellow shade, pure white are seen more.

Which one is better? HIDs or halogen? Which gives better visibility, especially for highways?

xenon HID for sure..halogens are not that good compared to HIDs

But here at the accessories shop, they say that its for only Show . Why would they want to turn a buyer for no reason?

Who said that Xenons are just for show?
Its a fact that they give better visibility at night time.
