This is the ICE i have in my Skoda Octavia vRs

Head Unit : Eclipse CD 7200 MkII
Front Components : Ground Zero Radio Active GZRC-16X
Rear Components : Illusion Audio Electras EL 6.1
Subwoofers : 2 x Ground Zero Radioactive SPL series - GZ 30SPL in a ported enclosure
Amp for the Components : JBL GTO 1004e
Amp for the Subwoofers : Audio Bank PA 5300BD

Power Cable : Finolex
Speaker Cable : Illusion Audio
RCA Cable : Sound Stream
Damping : Noise Kill

Just giving a try.. Your setup should costs something around 1.5 Lakhs ??

The price break up is as follows

Eclipse CD 7200 - 30k
GZ RC 16x Front compos - 13k
Illusion Electra 6.1 Rear compos - 7k
2 x Ground Zero 30 SPL subs - 36k
JBL 1004 - 10k
Audio Bank PA 5300BD - 22k
Wiring + Damping(quite less used since its a skoda) + Install + box + tits and bits = 12km ( not sure of this figure)
Bass Reflex Neons - 3k

So the total comes out to be around 1.33 Lakh.

Wow, Thats awesome!I think 1.3lacs is enough for Audio System, I remember I saw a audio set up in an autoshow which costed around 20+lacs! It was installed in a CR-V and Civic. 8)

I have personally seen cars with ICE more than value of the car itself.
ICE is a different world altogether .
Its bliss. Its Heaven.
Its the best sound after the turbo whistle from the skoda and the wheel spins and the exhaust note. :P

Thats was a TV autoshow, Its name is motormouth and comes on delhi's local channel NDTV Metronation.

You were using the JBL 1400.1 before the audibank right?? How is the change? does the audiobank give more power??

The difference is more bass.
The sub now plays fully upto full volume without lowering the bass.
A good upgrade over my JBL 14001.

But looking at the Specs of both, The JBL 1400.1 is more powerful. Your subs are SVC or DVC?? And what do you mean by bass lowers are full volume??

What are the specs of the audio bank.
Even i am unaware of that.

My subs are DVC.

With the JBL whenever i used to increase volume above 25 ( in my alpine) the amp used to lower the power of the subs as if it was going into protection mode or something.
It wasnt tripping but lowering the bass

I used the Fuse Rating to confirm the Specs, When you try to google you dont get information about Audiobank AMPS. Your AMP has 40Ax3=120A Fuses, Considering the JBL 1400.1 which has 40x4=160A Fuses. So Your amp to the max can give 1400 RMS Power of Power but must be giving around 1000W, The JBL has the maximum capacity of 1900W gives around 1500.

Your Previous amp must be going into Protection mode,therefore lowering the output at higher volumes, that can be the only reason or their must be some defect in your AMP.

Did the protection light(If the JBL had one) glow on increasing the volume???

Yours Subs are 4 OHM DVC?? means the total impedence to the Amp is 1 ohms?? how you powering them?? How have they been wired?

I dont think the protection light was coming up but heard about this problem in the amp with another guy.
So sold it off .

The subs are 2 OHM DVC.
2 coils wired to make 4 ohms and then 2 subs wired to power the whole thing at 2 ohms

Nice, Must be a manufacturing defect, But the one thing I really liked about Audiobank was the 0.5 Ohm Stable, Did you try wiring your subs to 0.5 Ohms you can, 2+2 in parallel makes 1 for each sub, And then both again connected in parallel to give 0.5 Ohm, Did the amp perform well without tripping?? Why power it at 2 Ohms since you can get maximum power out at 0.5 Ohms.

More the Power more the bass.

The Eclipse looks FAB, I am dying to audition the HU.

I did not try it at 2 ohms and frankly speaking i will not.
I am happy the way it is playing.

And also i do not play my sub very much .
The compos do my job great.
Looking for a 4 channel upgrade soon. Short on vitamin M a bit.
