The Automotive India Forum

Hello Members!
I am happy to announce that now we have total 39 members on our board.
However, i still feel that there is lack of members in our TAI forums, also TAI is not as popular as other big automotive forums anyways TAI is growing and very quickly!:)
But as you all know out of 39 only max. to max 8 are active participants.
As a result there are only few replies in topics and we don't have healthy disscussions.
So friends, I was thinking we should do something to promote TAI so that atleast we have about 100 - 200 members!
Please remember, this is your forum you are the most important part of the TAI forum.
So guys please pour all your suggestions here. :yup:

Yes Archit, we can do that. But only of our compulsion or words people might join!

But i hope we will not see any active participation in our forum :(

Does any body here know how google works?

Even when i search "The Automotive India" Our forum is not displayed in Google search.

So our first Aim should probably find that & achieve this !!

Then if any one is searching for car reviews or so, Our site should be displayed in the sponsored links.

So we have to work on the right path to get a Unique Name

yea i agree that should be another top priority but how can we all do that??

@Zinam : I've put up TAI link on Google and on some other search engines too, but they say it takes some time (maybe 6months or more!) for any link to come at top of search result, also that site also must be popular enough!
I've one more idea guys!You just download the Google chrome on your PC and search for The automotive India.forumotion, there in search result you will see the link of TAI homepage, and an 'up' arrow mark on its side, just click on that, that is for 'promotion' so it depends how maybe people do it, if there is a most of the people, then as zinam said TAI may appear in first page of google search result.Hope you all will try this!Thanks!:)

and it shows ACI webpage!!
but below it has TAI page in which XYLO and Logan are discussed!

Yeah it shows ACI web page. After few tries I got TAI web page.
And I went to "dissatisfied? help us to improve" and gave the link of TAI and I said that I was searching for it.

Guys, just do a thing, enter this link in your google search engine using G.chrome - theautomotiveindia.forumotion.net , then TAI home page will definately appear and click to 'up arrow' button!Thanks!:)

or i guess it works without G.chrome also!:)

Yes vibhor dear we must publicise . Why not pm members of teambhp forum? If you agree we all can do so sending at least about twenty pms every week, by each one of us.

Lets be careful to pm members to whom we are known as unknown members may take it as an advertisement (though it is not so at all) and that may get us infractions.

I thought the same idea before, but is it not a rule of TBHP Forum not to advertise any sites??

Then we can also go to Vicky.in, CareWale & many automotive sites & post our links to get our forum more Popular.

Yes Zinam, theres a rule on TBHP like this but as anjan said he will PM to his friends on TBHP so there is less chances of infraction there.:)

and Zinam, where will we post TAI's link on vicky,CW etc? Do you mean advertising?:)

One more thing, I added our forum to google search & i have submitted the sitemap using SEO.

I have promoted our forum too :) Hope if everyone does this we can surely see our site in Google search !

Hey Vibs, Here are some of the things you should do !!

Change the title of Page to "The Automotive India " from Index.

Then add a meta tag & have name="description & content="the Automotive India".

I think zinam is mentioning about the name that appears in tab. It says Index, while in home page.
