Re: Need help on Jaipur, Delhi trip
Hey Nice to know that you are making a visit to North India, Welcome in advance!
Look, If you go from Delhi to Jaipur it would be an approx. a 4 hour drive by car.
If you plan to visit some major places in delhi then it would take min. 2 days.
Jaipur is a nice place as well, Its much popular for its forts, tombs, Rajasthani tradition etc, I've not yet visited jaipur so don't have much idea about the tourist places but you can search for it on net, Here are 2 useful links for you - This & This.
About Delhi, I've written a list of major places which you must check out, Also I've mentioned the approx. time which would be suffecient to cover these places.
(Note: All these times are approx. and may vary from person to person)
There are more, I'll keep adding when they come in my mind.
All the best.

Re: Need help on Jaipur, Delhi trip
Thanks a lot vibhor. A change in plan, as my brother can't quit classes and for some other reasons, we've been dropped out of the trip. So my Dad and mom would only come there. Keep the inputs coming, i'll pass it on to them. Again thanks for guidance.

That is quite unfortunate crazy cat, Anyways if your parents are coming then tell them about all those above mentioned places but I'm not sure whether they would be intrested in Zoo.
Also, CC Could you tell me the location where they will be staying in delhi, Means south, east, west, north delhi so that I can suggest accordingly.

Re: Need help on Jaipur, Delhi trip
Crazy Cat,
Your parents should visit the Akshardham Temple, I would say that one must visit it if comes to Delhi, Akshardham is simply awesome, It takes almost a whole day if you want to visit it completely.
Here in Delhi, There are lots of museums on different things, Like Science & Natural Museum as i said above.
Other museums includes, Rail Museum, Doll Museum etc.

Re: Need help on Jaipur, Delhi trip
well i wont suggest any museums to visit for his parents but yes as vibhor said they should surely visit akshardham temple, worth visiting and do also make sure they take tickets for all shows, mostly they should reach the temple around 2-3 pm, go directly to the shows and then way back visit the temple in evening, its awesome man.

Re: Need help on Jaipur, Delhi trip
pictures are nothing to reality of this temple, very beautifully built, crafted and maintained, they would spend almost one full day if they want to cover the whole of temple along with features shows.
