Hey guys,
Just check out the whopping accessory price list of All New Honda City!
The most expensive accessory in the list is alloys which cost at stratospheric price of Rs. 47,604!and other expensive parts incl. foglamps etc. 8O

yes i have seen this on the ACI ---!
and one member (forgot the name) calculated the price of the ANHC if all accessories are put on the car!
the price was a whopping 13-14 lacs!
that just put it in the civic terrirtory!

47000 for a set of 4 alloy wheels? people must be insane to buy it.
Given the high price tag and rupee depreciating, this is quite expected.

Yup CC, but Thats quite alot and by the way, Whats Wheel Lock nut(27)? Is it that small nut on wheel?and it costs Rs.1,996 :affraid:

This is why we should always get accessories from Chorbazar kind of places..!! Atleast we donot have to pay such ridiculous prices..!!

But from "chorbazaar" etc we don't get relaible accessories/parts or do we? but from an authorised dealer even if we pay more, we get peace of mind but for the city its different case because it has too highly priced accessories.

Well, in my case all my ICE is from Mullickbazar( kinda automotive wholesale place ). I have a Sony Xplod CdPLAYER WITH 4 xplod speakers. Also installed 2 Kikcers speakers recently. They are working fine. Changed Sony because of its inherently bad sound quality.

And I believe wheel lock nut is one that puts the spare tyre in place at the boot.

But in Delhi i hear you get alloy rims for 2500/piece, 4 pieces of tires should cost about 4000
so that's 10000 for the rims and 4000 for the tires, and I have 33000 left which I can spend on a nice sofa for the living room. Who in their right mind would alloy rims with 47000, you can get a Nice bike for that much

I agree with you vibhor. But in this case, the original accessories are priced very high. For paying that much high price, we could buy from local shops, may be even two or three times we can buy the same product, in case it fails.

Hey CC I completely agree with you friend. Stuff like alloys can easily be brought from such places. It is only electronic gadgets that feel dicey when brought from local places.

Even the Skoda Octavia vRs' 16" spider alloys cost only 44k.

What's so special about these ANHC alloys.

It definetly isnt worth 47000 bucks. One can get so much in that money in a plain accessories shop.

Ya, We can get a set of Aura brand with better looks cheaper than this, Don't know who will opt for these expensive alloys in his city. :roll:

wow, premium car gives your premium price accessories man, its HONDA, nothing comes cheap in here!!

i cant help but laugh looking at the prices of:
trunk spoiler - 11,000!!!

fog lamp - 19,000! i think the reason is that for the fitment of the fog lamps, they have to change a whole part of the bumper as i have noticed the standard bumper does not have slots for fog lamps.

rear sensor - 12,000! i got one in my innova for 5000 from the toyota dealer!

yeah raj, 5k is really good price from its dealer, man Honda seems looting indian customers.

Honda is going on the Skoda's way, But surprisingly the thing is that even after so much overpriced spares and the cost of car itself, Still we can spot many New Citys on roads. 8O
