turbo charged m800

heard that m800 can be turbo charged and i found these pics

acc. to the owner this turbo charged m800 can reach speeds upto 170kmph :shock:

How can it withstand 170kph?

I don't really believe it, The speedo's max limit is 150KPH then how can it cross the limit??

the speedo pointer sure goes over the marked speed dude, there is no blocking component in the speedo, i dint find any when i opened my dash

that is a photoshopped image of the speedo...
moreover that engine is a twincam engine... and does not look like a 800cc engine

Yeah, Thats photoshopped for sure, because even if the speed of car crosses the limit than in speedo, The speedo will show only the max limit,it won't cross it like this! :lol!:

yeah.. i would love to have my palio turbo charged..!

Turbocharging a car is not an easy job, Especially if they are small cars like 800 etc, Firstly one need to install a turbo which costs upwards of a lakh and you also need too replace the shafts, pistons etc so that they can handle that much of power.

Hi everybody.
I'm Debayan. just joined the forum. and the first thing i noticed was the thread on a turbocharged 800.
The 800 is mine. i had posted this on another forum, where i was told that it wasnt possible, and i was spamming them .
plus i never had any pics of the install, so they had the benefit of doubt. the thing is, that it is possible. the performance gains aren't much, but the fun factor is. I used a IHI RHB 131 turbo. The engine head is from a F5a. this engine was used in japan. The F5a/F8a/F8b/F8d, all have same blocks, but different heads. The turbo used to run on 7psi boost. the stock internals can handle it easily.
The pics are of the speedo and are not photoshopped. i have 3 pics clicked in succesion. ckeck the odo readings..
these are the only pics i have. I am in chennai, the car is in Bokaro, my hometown. I rarely go there. Engineering *****. lots of work, and i cannot even go home. :(

Maybe people there wouldn't belived you but we do believe and I'm surprised to know that pic of speedo is not a PS trick :shock: Never seen that speedo needle can break its limits, If you have few more pics please do post them here.
