hey vibhor, if you want your pillars to get black, dont paint them as it would be expensive mod, rather go for matt finish sticker thing which is available with the accessories shop or with the sticker-numberplate shop which are reliable and long lasting as i did with my indica, orvm coloured looks cool but bumpers not sure as i have seen faded bumbers and they doesnt look good on 800, though its my choice.

For the past few days, when ever I opened this post on sunfilm, pictures of cars were right on the top of the message and so, I could not read message. NOW IT SEEMS TO HAVE RESOLVED ITSELF. NOW THE PICTURES ARE ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE MESSAGES.
I had Garware film installed on my santro in 2005 and it is in excellent shape till today. As I am about pick up my new Chevrolet Neo2 Tavera next week, I spent a few hours reading the internet posts on sun control films.
They all seem to recommend 3M, Llumar and V-cool films. V-cool seems to be too expensive. Llumar has very few dealers. 3M seems to be available all over. So, I decided to get 3M film (Crystalline film with a 5 year warranty). I am getting CR50 (50% visibility and 56% heat rejection) for the sides and CR70 (70% visibility and 50% heat rejection) for the rear, and none for the front wind shield for now. The Tavera SS-D1 already comes with light tinted glasses all around.
The price is not confirmed as yet. I will post again when the price is confirmed. Looks like it will run about 13000 for 33 square of glass in Tavera.

Hello TSReddy!
A very warm welcome to you in TAI forums, We are very sorry for any inconvinence caused due to this problem, Actually its from last few days and we are trying to fix it. For any help please PM Mods/Admin or email - board.theautomotiveindia@gmail.com . :)
Anyways back to topic, thanks for information, so i think i will also go for 3M only as most people suggest it, I've to install it on my 800, so i don't think it will cost that much anyways keep us updated on your car and sunfilm. :yup:
EDIT: If this problem happens again then try to refresh page.

Llumar Films come in many ranges starting from 200 Bucks going all the way to 35000 Bucks. I have Llumar Steel 20 on the sides and rear, install done by professional Llumar guys from the Company. Costed me around 6k.
@abhinav: What Series film do you have, As far as i know, Llumar does not have any shades in Grey.

ahem.... i have garware in my scorpio. i am not too happy with the choice of film i made, but i have no complains with it either. i still feel it is not as good as V kool, but of course! however, no bubbles have formed. it comes with a 5 year warranty, so if bubbles arise, they will replace it free of cost.
vibhor, if you need something cheap, then only look for garware. i got it for 2800 on my scorpio. in the 800, i think it would cost around 1000.

Garware is very bad.
Used it on my Honda City.
I cannot see anything on my rear even though the film was very light .

V Kool ranges upto 20000 or even more.
1000 for windshield is very nice but it is because it is 20%.
If you would opt for 70% or so, it would not cost you less than 1300-1500
